This place is amazing. I very rarely post a review, but I feel called to do so for BTH. There are a lot of places out there to help your child, but this place stands apart. The owner and therapists show genuine care for your child and family. There are no sales pushes, just an effort to help your child stay on or get on track. Only a few weeks in programs here and I am seeing practical, measurable advances in my child's development. I highly recommend the elementary groups and handwriting without tears group. You will feel a sense of relief after just a week or two here. I know I feel peace when I drop off my child, and the positive, optimistic, and encouraging attitude of the owner and therapists here is contagious. I've tried many places all over the metropolitan area. Nothing has compared to the positive experience we are having at BTH.
Bringing Therapy Home has been a blessing to both our daughter with special needs, and to our family as a whole. Upon first meeting Marena Mitchell for our daughter's initial evaluation, we instantly fell in love with her, the facility, the staff, and everything they have to offer. They love your children with all they have, and treat you as part of a family. In addition to their warmth and kindness, they also provide amazing therapy for children of all abilities and ages. We have been so impressed with our daughter's progress since she has started going to Bringing Therapy Home. A true gem of a place. We look for many more years of service there!
We have used a number of therapists throughout the past 3 years. When we finally found Marena and her team at Bringing Therapy Home it was truly a blessing! They truly care about each child and their progress. Marena makes an effort to have a strong connection to each child and their families. We are always kept apprised of the progress, needs, and accomplishments our child makes during her sessions. This is by far the best group we have found for our child! Words cannot express how highly we would recommend them!
Absolutely wonderful people. We take our daughter here for a guided music group for tots. Through this class, my daughter gets the benefits of socialization with a regular group of peers, which is hard to come by without daycare. The structure provided by our speech pathologist and occupational therapist really facilitates an environment where children can happily learn through play.nnAbove all, you can really tell that they make a fantastic effort to get to know each child and parent as individuals. Whatever your child is -- shy, social, energetic, afraid -- they are equipped to deal with it. Your child will NEVER be left out, because they find a way to make sure that each child is included in the play, even if they have to modify the parameters to make that happen. This is a wonderful place to take your children, and they will treat them like their own!!
We have used the group classes for our son with some social communication anxieties. Marena was EXTREMELY positive, welcoming, and in-charge at drop off & pick up. I expected my son to be exhausted after a 2 hour class following a long day of school, but he said he enjoyed the class! The class is fun, playful, focused, and effective. Marena & the other therapists have a natural ability to relate with children. Marena is encouraging & positive which is a blessing for my son. Marena puts her whole heart into everything she does. She is a gem.nnUpdate: after several weeks of group classes, my son has made HUGE improvements. My normally silent son talks the entire drive home. He laughs, tells me about the class, and has made huge strides in voicing his needs & feelings at home. They are small changes that have made a huge difference in his life. The therapist genuinely praise him in meaningful & believable ways & make his confidence soar. I am so glad we have invested our time & money here.
