Went in for a visit and paid cash. Was told I only owed what I paid. 2 weeks later I get a bill for more. 15 minute visit. Wish they would be up front about what you really owe.

My experience at Medallus was very positive. Roxanne was not only extremely knowledgeable and very professional, she was super down to earth and personable. It was clear that she really cares and takes a personal interest in every detail. The rest of the staff was great and it was a really comfortable and good feeling environment. Overall a great experience! Highly recommend!!

They have problems with billing because they can't handle anything locally. All the billing goes to an office in Utah. Just be weary when you go in here. They are willing to load you up with medications and bill your insurance or do their special program.nnWhat happened to me is this: I had an appointment, they billed insurance, there was a bill leftover to pay. I walked in with cash to pay in full. There was also a late fee of $20. I asked about it and the receptionist said, NO don't worry about that portion, I will get them to waive it. Then she called and spoke to the people in Utah and they noted the account to have it waved. Then I got a bill for $20. Then I went back in to pay it, and the receptionist saw the note and said OH NO, do not pay this. They probably sent you the bill automatically and I will call and get it fixed. Then I got another bill for $20 the next month. I ignored it. Then I got the bill again the next month and I went back in. Same thing the receptionist would NOT TAKE my $20 and said not to worry about it. NOW I have a $26 collections entry and there is NOTHING they can do about it. So, sorry for the book, but I HAVE to share this with someone.

I went in to talk to someone about getting an Emotional Support Animal letter for college because they're the only ones in Jamestown that write them anymore. Front desk lady talked too fast for me to understand and seemed annoyed when I asked her to repeat herself. Doctor didn't ask any questions about my past and just kept saying that since she doesn't know me she won't write the letter, not giving me a chance to explain why I requested one in the first place. She didn't seem to care at all about anything I said and I pretty much paid to be told no over and over for five minutes and didn't have a chance to talk.

Made my kids feel comfortable and less afraid of being in the clinic. So nice for Jamestown to have another option for walk in care!
