I was referred to Olathe Glass by a builder when I moved to Kansas over 20 years ago, and continued to support them for small item as well as the decor side of the business. Recently I reached out to them about a replacement window for my shower, and was given a quote by the Mgr. Due to miscommunication among staff, I received a call a day later to tell me the quote was going to be higher than originally stated. So I requested a call back from the owner. The owner called back, and he never apologized. He continued to make excuses for reason the price went up. So disappointed in the service. I will never recommend anyone else to this company again. Most businesses would try and make it right with the customer, but not this one. ud83dude12
The double pane window glass in four of my home windows had fogged up. I had a LOT of trouble finding businesses to provide a quote to replace the glass, and the only one that responded was crazy expensive.nnI'm handy enough to remove the fogged glass and replace it with new, so I worked with Olathe Glass to measure them and get replacements ordered. The new glass arrived in about two to three weeks for a fraction of the cost of new windows and also the cost of installed replacement glass.nnAt the same time, I was looking to get new shower glass installed in a remodeled bathroom. Jarod came out to measure and design the shower enclosure and sent a quote. Based on my experience with Olathe Glass, I accepted the offer. A few weeks later, Jarod and his helper came by and installed the shower glass. Jarod is a true craftsman and fussed to make sure everything was perfect. We're thrilled with the results and recommend Olathe Glass to our friends and family.
Olathe Glass has been taking care of our glass, bathroom doors, mirrors...since 2004! Affordable, quality products, and always measure properly for phenomenal fits/finishes.
I stopped in with very small repair for a small candle holder. Needed 3 small ( about 4” x 6” or so, satin glass pieces. They said the minimum cost would be $34.00 for the satin or $24.00 for clear glass. I went to Westlake Hardware and they found some remnant pieces and cut them for me. No charge! Olathe Glass had no interest in helping me with my small repair. After all I’m just one customer. Says something about the company.
