My son and I were returning home from a long plains states road trip and discovered this when we were originally just going to stop for a photo op with the world’s largest Buffalo.nnFrontier Village is FREE and is set up like an old western town. They have a bar, dentist office, jail, general store etc. They had fun picture opportunities through out. My son said it looked like you could have a showdown in the middle of town.nnThey have a wonderful moderately priced gift shop (the most inexpensive souvenirs I had seen in 13 states). You can hand feed buffalo and a horse and I believe that had some food available but we did not check it out.nnSo give yourself an hour or more and check this village out when you’re getting your Buffalo pic.

Fun place to stop while traveling or as a destination itself. The new group that has taken over is doing a great job fixing displays and doing a great job of improving the experience for everyone

A small, but worthwhile stop when motoring on past. Kids enjoyed the chance to stretch their legs.

Visited on October 2nd. Loved it! Could only see the interiors from outside. I would lovw tovgo back when they 're open.
