Just finished having hardwood floors re-finished. Also added hardwood to a previously carpeted area. The whole process from getting an estimate to getting the floor job done was seamless. Good communication. Professional response and they did a great job of installing hardwood.

Delayed our job 3 months

I would NOT recommend if you want lasting, beautiful floors.nI had new CoreTec floors installed on the main floor of my house (Entry hall, living room, family room, and dining room) on 10/27/16 for over $4500.nI noticed that evening that there were huge dips in the subfloor in many places. Turns out that the installer hadn’t secured the subfloor and had failed to put subflooring in a few areas.nThere is a huge slope directly in front of fireplace that has never been fixed.nIn addition, there was a 1/4 inch gap where the vinyl was to meet the kitchen. The installer left the gap stating there was nothing to be done.nnI immediately called Keith to share my concerns and frustration. They had to remove all the flooring that had been laid in all rooms except family room.nn3 months later I contacted SFI to tell them I had little dents/impressions all over the floor. I was told when buying the floor that the benefit of CoreTec is its durability. Keith came to inspect and said I needed to contact the manufacturer for any disputes. The manufacturer sent a specialist to look at the dents. I was told that the dents were a result of not putting felt under the furniture. No one shared this was necessary as I was told the floors were extremely durable. Dents were under the piano bench, where no one ever sat, under side tables that were less than a foot long and wide, in rooms that were never used.nIf I wanted to have them fixed, the floor would need to be replaced and cost was on me!!! They were less than 3 months old!nnKeith said if I wanted to replace the floor, I would need to cover cost of “man hours and material”. No, I had just bought a floor for over $4500 and I was not financially able to purchase a second.nnAlmost 3 years later, the floor looks terrible. Even with felt padding, the soft floor has marks that are extremely noticeable.nnThis company does not stand by their products. Buyer beware!!!
