La Petite Academy of Olathe

I don’t even know where to begin singing my praises. I suppose chronologically makes the most sense, so let’s start with how flexible and amazing the team were with our start date. We had moved from out of state, and my job ended up falling through due to covid, so they were generous enough to allow me to stay home with my little one until I could find employment while also holding onto his spot. Once we did get started, it was such an affirming experience. The teachers sent home a ton of cute photos every day, which I love because I’m a crazy momma who likes to be updated, and then they began a program where you can check in on the kiddos via camera on an app! (No screenshots allowed, so privacy is not a concern!) The lines of communication were always wide open. If little buddy came home with a scratch because he tripped on the playground, I knew about it as I picked him up that day, and I was given a full report of the situation. (This didn’t happening often, but toddlers will be toddlers!) If we had any issues at all, the team were willing to work with us to make sure we were comfortable and our little one was well-tended. I can’t say enough great things about the loving, compassionate hearts of the staff. I could go on, but suffice to say, it’s a great feeling when you drop your kiddo off, and he’s excited to see any member of the staff who welcomes him. And then, at the end of the day, he’s excited to see me and head home set up for success that evening! I highly recommend the lovely team at La Petite!

This was hands down the best experience we've ever had with any preschool. The director of the site and the teachers are very attentive and work with the parents and the children. I could not be happier about our experience and was super sad when our youngest graduated out to district school. 10 out of 10.. would highly recommend!!!!

I’ve had 4 kiddos come through La Petite and 3 at this location. My youngest started at 2 months and my oldest was 5. I can’t say anything but great things about the care they all have received. The staff love my kiddos as much as I do. They update me with pictures and videos throughout the day on what they’re up to and what they’re learning. I’ve never had any major concerns regarding my child’s care or safety. But even minor concerns, like a missing jacket, are handled with care and promptly. Jami is wonderful and has really gone through great lengths to find spots for my kiddos as I am a foster mom and can pop up with a new little one at anytime. I also had some great challenges with my oldest kiddo and all the teachers, as well as Jami and Brooke went above and beyond to help him with a difficult transition. Baby girl loves her teachers and is excited to go every morning to enjoy her day. She’s hitting a lot of her milestones early and I know it’s because of her teachers. It’s hard to find awesome childcare these days. We plan to stay with La Petite as long as they’ll have us ☺ufe0f

My Children have been with this Daycare for little over 4 years! Not going to lie we have had our ups and downs. However the good has out weighed the bad. My 7 year old still begs for me to take him here instead of his school. We love have been very satisfied with La Petite.

I absolutely love La Petite! Director Jami, Assistant Director Brooke, Ms. Sheryl, and Miss Anita are FABULOUS! They love my child as much as I do, partner with me in holding my child accountable, and help my child navigate social struggles all while giving my child a great foundation in education ensuring he will be successful once he enters kindergarten. I was so nervous to send my child to preK as we had been in an in home daycare and I worried if we would be able to find a place as loving as our daycare provider. Here at La Petite my worries easily set aside. They teachers care so much and about each child. I am truly thankful for La Petite and the staff there.
