I love the new Lenexa library and look forward to the day when we can all go there without COVID restrictions. It's so spacious and bright.
Surprisingly large selection of dvds. Ps4 and Xbox one games in addition to music cds for rent. Public computers available for use. Easy to use kiosks to search books dvds and cds. Spacious, clean, and very helpful librarians.
This is the newest Johnson County Library branch. I really like the 3-panel, 2 story art! There are so many great seating options. It fits in nicely within Lenexa City Center. The Public Market is just across from it. And, there's a parking garage right next door and there's always ample parking.
I love this library. It is very cool and a good place to study. However, the staff is really loud... like obnoxiously. I understand that libraries are not known for being super quiet anymore, but the staff will have loud conversations right next to me and even across me... I still keep coming because I like the place, and staff conversations don't bother me, I just wish they would at least try to keep a lower volume.
Fantastic library. Just moved here and quite lucky to have such a nice place down the road. Would be nice if it had a maker's space :)
