Great job on replacing our deck. Strongly recommended!nnWe hired them to tear down our rotting deck and replace it with a new one. They did an excellent job. The crew worked quickly but were careful to not damage the lawn as they walked on it and removed the old wood and brought in the new wood. We are thrilled with the results. Great job, fair price, good communication, and everything exactly as expected.

I had Lighthouse Renovation redo my old deck with pvc composite decking, black aluminum railing and new stairs. Placher and his crew, Rob, Matt and Gordon, did a fantastic job! They showed up on time and cleaned up the yard everyday before leaving. They paid close attention to detail and communicated with me regularly to insure I was satisfied with the work being done. They painted the existing skirting although it was not in the bid and addressed all concerns to my satisfaction. I have had many complements and look forward to enjoying many maintenance free years on my new deck!!!

I was pleased with the quality of the large skim coat and drywall repair job they completed for us. They also did a good job on popcorn ceiling repair and column porch replacement. And they made sure I was pleased with the work. A downside is that it took several weeks, due to a 1-2 person crew most days.

First let me say that I am a particular customer. I needed to replace the stairs & landing going to my second story deck. Communication with Placer was excellent. He provided me with a bid that listed all my requests better than any contractor I’ve dealt with before. The price was slightly above mid-range but I don’t mind paying more for good work. Often on construction jobs, the crew does not do what the job bidder says will happen and that happened on this job. I was expecting the stairs only to be removed leaving the original posts in place. The crew chief said they needed to complete disassemble & remove everything in order to pour new footings. After seeing how much work was involved with pouring new footings, I understand why he said that. We discovered that the old posts had rotted and needed to be replaced. They only charged me the cost of the posts, which I appreciated. I am very fussy about my lawn. After I expressed some concern about the grass, they were careful to clear debris away at the end of each day. Would I recommend Lighthouse. Yes I would. They did a great job and always listened when I had any concerns. There was a cosmetic issue with construction that I noticed a few days after the job was finished. Placer came back and took care of the problem. One other thing. This company is digital. Everything is conducted online. No central office or showroom. Payments can be made by ACH. If you are uncomfortable with any of that, I’m sure Placer can work with you as he did with me.nMike H.

I’m very happy with the work Placher and his crew did on my house! I have an old house and the previous owner did some wonky things that I wanted fixed and they were able to get all those done for me. They put in a flush deck off the back door and put in a door connecting my garage to the house. I was going to replace the front door but some structural problems arose that would have made it more costly to replace than I wanted to spend but Placher redid the door and it looks like a new door! Highly recommended.
