I chose this facility because it was new and had climate controlled options. I need a place temporary to store my belongings because my house was not ready. 3 short months later, I hired a moving company to pick all my things up and they noticed water damage and mold on almost everything. Everything from my bedroom furniture, boxes, inside boxes, on my home decor... everything! I was in complete shock! I had to take photos of everything and submit paperwork to corporate for an insurance claim. After submitting, I was given no direction on when I would hear back, my next steps, nothing! The process for claims is awful! Thank goodness for the property manager for being so kind and helpful throughout this process! After a week, I called asking for a follow up. All they could tell me was to wait 2-4 weeks... it’s been almost 4 weeks now and still nothing. I even reached out to higher up via email and still no response. I would just like some clarity because I am now living in a place with limited furniture and it was absolutely disgusting and very disappointing. Please read the terms and conditions prior to renting a storage unit and don’t trust that just because it is new and protected from the outside, doesn’t mean things won’t happen to your property!
This facility is super - clean, easy to navigate, quick entry/exit. I used a 5x5 unit for two months while in-between housing and never experienced any issues. Don, the manager, was helpful and kind throughout the entire process. Definitely recommend!

Very impressive. Air conditioning is perfect and the place looks cleaner than a hospital! Extremely friendly staff. Everything is satisfactory. Good job!
We recently reserved a large unit at Storage Mart on Glennwood St. in Overland Park. It's a very nice facility, clean and easy access. Don was very helpful in providing us with all the pertinent information. Highly recommend.
