We have the highest opinion and respect for Dr. Brooks. We've been going to him for well over 20 years. Our rating of 2 stars is solely due to the incompetence of the office staff. When we made the appointment, we were not informed the office on Hilltop Road was closed even though their website shows that as their location and that's the phone number we called. Also tried to make an appointment for each of us to see his P.A. and was told we could both go talk to her together. At the appointment only 1 of us was allowed to go in. They are unorganized and do not seem to communicate within their staff. They tell patients one thing and don't follow through. Worst experience with them since we started going to Dr. Brooks.

So, my wife had a procedure here and I have to say to the DR's make an investment in this business, the Air Conditioning wasn't working, there wasn't accessible wifi, there we're a number of secured options (but none to patient companions) if you've ever had to wait on someone getting a procedure, you can plan on waiting a couple of hours or more, don't expect to get any work done or surf your phone because you simply can NOT connect. The offices are dark, the furniture and fixtures are dated, my wife has been going to this office for 2 decades and it hasn't been updated since it was new.

I've had wonderful care with the Shawnee/Midland clinic. I was referred by my primary doctor. This review refers to this branch.nThe staff has always been pleasant and the PA that follows my case, allows enough time to listen to my concerns while developing a plan of care that will provide the best outcome for my health. In a recent situation, all avenues to find answers to my health problem were covered and when I received my final results, I felt assured that we had tried everything possible to resolve the issue.

Happy to have moved to to Westglen in the past year. Good experiences to date. Responsive to calls. Limited waiting. Doctors and NPs work through items diligently to ensure all questions and concerns are addressed.

My mother was a patient of Alka Hudson although no longer due to a very nasty nurse named Joy who set up procedures for patients.nMy mother had been told by her health insurance broker that the facility St Luke’s South where she was to have her future procedure would not be in her AmBetter health insurance network 1/2019. My mom called her insurance company and was told by the rep she would research this and call her back. She also called St Luke’s South and the hospital operator told her she had heard that too, but would transfer her to the right person to find out. That mans voicemail said he was out of the office and to leave a message. My mom then called and spoke with a lady at Westglen GI’s billing/insurance dept and was told they didn’t know of this, but would give my moms info and message to Joy the nurse. Joy called her back and told her that her insurance broker was wrong, and there’s no record of her calling her insurance company nor St Luke’s South basically inferring she was lying. How ridiculous and how ridiculous to point out like this. The nurse continued to be combative saying she would be covered and they’ve never had any patient fall through the cracks. She was very snotty to say the least. Very poor people skills.
