Love this new place to eat in Shawnee! Clean, pretty, well done atmosphere and the food was delicious! A bit pricey for sandwiches but worth it. I will definitely be returning.
Everything is always delicious here! From coffee to tea and breakfast to lunch. My personal favorites are the butter roll and the butter roll stack! I stop by their drive through at least every other week. Such a great place and glad they’re in Shawnee now!!
We need more McLain's in KC - there can never be enough. I frequent about once a week - my son and I have made their cinnamon rolls a tradition on the weekends. The other food and bakery items are amazing too. Love the atmosphere and the fact that they have a drive through when we're in a rush. Perfect for a coffee, breakfast, lunch meet up spot.
If you love sweet pastries you are going to love this place. They do serve breakfast and lunch but their prices are expensive compared to other restaurants. But for a quick meal they have better quality food items than PB. The restaurant has an extraordinary ambiance and a available patio outside. This place is worth a try
I started going going to the Brookside location after finding out they were the creators of the cookie with the chocolate drop in the middle which is to die for. When they opened the Shawnee location I was elated! I highly recommend them for any breakfast dishes. They have the best variety of pastries -if you get there early. They also have a nice outdoor seating area which is gold these days!
