Gardner Animal Hospital

My family and i have been going here for 10 years. All of them are awesome and so helpful. I appreciate everything they have done for all four of my dogs. Both gone and still here.nThank you all for making hard times a little less difficult. And the good times better!nLove you all and here is to 10 more!

I came home today and my old man was laying in the backyard having a seizure. My boyfriend rushed him to the nearest vet which was Gardner animal hospital. The doctor was very pleasant. They looked him over and gave him shots for his seizures but he kept having them. So we were given an option to come and pick him up and take him elsewhere because they were closing at 5 or we could put him down. Well I called him my Old Man for a reason because he was old. Long story short we decided to put him down. We said our goodbyes to him but could not stay while they put him down. My heart couldn’t take that. He was there from start to finish for under 90 minutes and when it got time to pay the bill it had to be paid in full. I asked could we pay some now and be billed for the rest. I was told they need the full payment or for me to go online and apply for a credit card. This was told to me before they put him down, so while we were talking money my old man was in a room sedated, but his seizures were going to start again because the meds were wearing off. Between my tears and runny nose i used 3 credit cards to make the payment so they could put the old man to rest. We didn’t want to take him elsewhere because he kept having the seizures and we didn’t want him to have to keep suffering.nnMy suggestion/complaint I just wish they worked with me instead of backing me into a corner about the payment. A payment plan would have been nice.

My Chihuahua stayed at the kennel for a week. I trust those who help take care of her. Effie is a nervous and one owner dog, which makes it difficult for her to be calm and affectionate.

The staff and doctors was very nice and took very good care of my shadow. Unfortunately I had to put shadow down due to oral cancer. I highly recommend gardner animal hospital. The staff and doc was very caring towards both shadow and myself.

Super professional. Wanted a vet closer to my home. Took my hyper pups in for a checkup. They immediately got records transferred from our previous vet and were beyond kind and gentle with my doggos who were anxious and ill behaved. Great first experience.
