Brookside Shops

Always a nice trip, nice area, great food, and a pretty view!

My favorite part of living in Brookside is being able to walk to these shops. Rumor has it rent rates and new developments are running stores like The Dime Store and Fiddley Fig out. The Dime Store and Brookside Toy and Science are places of nostalgia and I absolutely hate the idea of something happening to them. I'm only 37 and my entire childhood was spent in those shops! I hope whatever plans are in the works don't take away from the quaint charm and unique characteristics of the Brookside Shops!

Brookside toy and science is the best shop in kansas city. They have the coolest toys and science gear around. They also are the only store i know of in Kansas or Missouri that sells lab glass and lab gear in general to the public at an extremely fair price

Although there were not many cars available at Avis, when I need a vehicle I was able to get some excellent customer service. Got vehicles that were clean on the interior and exterior didn't smell like smoke a burnt up weed. Customer service skills were Beyond reproach. I would recommend Avis to anybody. I will never ever use Enterprise again.
