I would highly recommend Westwood Dental! I've been a patient there for over 10 years and every time I go in (whether for a routine cleaning or for a procedure) the staff is welcoming, friendly, and great at what they do!

After having a consultation on a friday for a broken molar I was scheduled to have a root canal 13 days out With Dr. McDonald. I was also scheduled to have a dental cleaning on the Monday following the consultation. After 2 visits with Dr. Galvin and multiple x-rays everything was set for my Thursday appointment at 8:30am. Until the Wednesday before the appointment, when around 3pm, less then 24 hours before the appointment, I received a call saying that after looking at the x-rays they won’t be able to perform the procedure and to call them back to receive a referral. After calling back the receptionist provided little help, and showed a complete lack of care for my time. Dr. Galvin has her name on the sign out front, but wasn’t able to look at the x-rays or have her “partner” Dr. McDonald look at them until less then 24 hours before the procedure to decide they couldn’t do it. As I’m a full time student, and full time retail store manager, time is very hard to come by. I had to use vacation to get the day off for the appointment only to be cancelled last minute, and sent off. I was very excited to have a new dentist office after my good experiences with both the dental hygienist and various other staff members, but have been majorly let down by this most recent experience. I have gone ahead and cancelled my future scheduled appointments with them and can’t wait to find a office and team of dentist that respect their patient’s time.
