This city suffers from a lack of leadership. The city is a lazy, disrespectful, and incompetent Luddite.nThey posted a job on their website, but are apparently technologically incapable of accepting applications online. I had to print and fill out a 5 page document. Even then, I couldn’t email it back to them, as they required that it be mailed, faxed, or hand-delivered.nI hand-delivered my application. About a week and a half later, I called to check on the status and was told that they already contacted everyone they wanted to and had moved forward with interviews.nAfter jumping through all of their hoops, and meeting all of their stated qualifications, they can’t be bothered to talk to me to see what I had to offer?nWorse, they didn’t have the decency to simply respond and let me know that they had gone a different direction. They just left me hanging, thinking I still had a shot.nThe website says to come in to the office if you have questions. I did so and was told that no one would talk to me. Then I was lied to about my qualifications.nThis is a terrible way to treat people. It’s clear that Merriam doesn’t care about its people.

This guy could not wait ten second to turn behind me He had been behind me since we both got off the highway he was behind me way after merriam lane till we had to slow down to let someone take a left he was still behind me coming to the second left after merriam lane then he raced around my right side I'm in a excursion pulling a 18' trailer and then he cut me off slammed on his brakes now my brakes on my excursion are messed up and my trailer brakes are messed up It's pretty bad when a building code inspector does something like that I finally caught up with him in the neighborhood where he was checking out a deck this is horrible for you to do that to someone you should not be in the position you are in you can't have the patience for 10 more seconds to turn left instead you have to go right slam on your little Chevy's gas so hard that I can hear your engine over my V10 with an exhaust system and then pull in front of me and slammed on your brakes so you could turn left on Ebay that is aggressive driving and last I knew brake checking is illegal to the point you can lose your license now if I did that to a city employee what would have happened if it was the other way around
