So this place is great to shop around in. Huge back issue section. Problem is now they are only open for picking up new comics ordered online. No back issue shopping Not listed on their website so that was fun to drive all the way there to not get in.

I've only been once, but the owner is the nicest last around. Super helpful, smiling, and talkative. She knew exactly what I asked for even though it was an obscure, lesser known book. Highly recommended and definitely talk with her as she is quite knowledgeable.

Most uncomfortable experience of my life. Me and three of my friends went inside to check it out. They have a good selection of comics and figures and the staff was very friendly besides the older lady working. She would not stop following us around as if we were going to steal. She asked me at least four times within a ten minute period if I was looking for something in particular and would not stop watching me. There wasn’t a moment I felt comfortable with her in the store surveying us like a hawk. I wanted to buy two or three comics that I found, but I decided against buying anything after the experience I had with her. Me explaining it does not do how I felt justice. She brings such a terrible atmosphere.

We visited last summer after hearing about the store from a local podcast. The lady behind the counter was not very inviting for our first and probably only visit to her store. The first comment that was off putting was making sure we knew they catered to collectors with a motion to my 13 year old. The next was asking my wife to leave her purse at the counter. I would understand this if the purse was big enough to actually put something in but it wasn’t even big enough to hold an ash can. May it’s because she is Latino. Me being being a fat old white guy was met with nothing but a smile. Yes I know all about the history with the shoplifting and death and that is really sad. But if your that afraid to have new customers then maybe it’s time to close the doors. Or just not engage with new customers and manage from behind the scenes.

Their website needs updated. It stated that they were open during Covid. My wife and I went there and wasted our time to get there only to find they were closed.
