I flew some friends in from out of state and needed to find a chill place to get some drinks. I got a reservation and showed up a little late. It’s clearly a popular place so they did what they could to get us in and were super gracious. We got a table in no time. The security guard was super nicennThe atmosphere was very upscale clean and there was some subtle soft tunes playing in the back ground. Throughout the night the vibes started to gradually intensify. The DJ as so on point it was amazing. We kept looking around and then looking back at each other in amazement at how freaking awesome this place was. I mean completely mind blown.nnThe drinks were absolutely amazing. You go to a place like this because the drinks are so advanced and complex that you cannot reproduce them at home not matter how hard you try. That’s why you pay what you pay for them it’s and absolutely amazing treat.nnI will be making more reservations here I want all my friends to experience this

Absolutely wonderful place! My best friend and I had our own private bachelorette party at the Parlour which is a lovely little lounge in the back with dim lighting and beautifully decorated. The drinks were so well made and definitely worth the price if you are looking for high quality interesting drinks with so many options.The service was SPECTACULAR!!! Our waitress was so adorable, took our pictures and the bartender was super funny and friendly! I couldn’t have asked for a better night here! Thank you monarch bar for making our night special and exceeding my expectations to the fullest! Amazing place and definitely worth it!!!!!! Will be back! :)

Considering that this bar got such great reviews, I was expecting more than what we got... I can’t account for tea, but if it’s special coffee drinks you’re wanting, go somewhere else. I got a Dark Forest, and that is the worst drink I’ve ever tasted in my life! If you want to taste what it’d be like to have vinegar and liquid smoke mixed together straight without the taste of coffee, order it.. The sweet potato latte was meh/okay, nothing to brag about, and certainly not worth the cost for a small cup.

First time visiting The Monarch Bar. It was truly an experience, that I loved (: Beautiful on the outside and the inside. The employees were so kind! Angelo at the front entrance helped us decide where to sit (the best seat inside the bar) *which it was totally a cute spot* it was perfect! Our waitress Amanda was a superstar, she helped me figure out the menu with patience and also brought us a nut mix (with less almonds) and chips. The attention to detail and knowledge every employee has was amazing. I love it here. It's such a vibe. The drinks were so cute too omg. Very upscale, luxurious scene. Glad it's in Kansas City. My friends invited me to a ladies night out, on a Thursday, after a rough week. This beautiful bar is upscale, with amazing cocktails and customer service!! They know how to make you feel special and cared for at the bar and Parlour.nnEveryone needs to experience the Parlour once in their life, especially if you adore a vintage, roaring 20s, speakeasy atmosphere! I felt like I walked into one of my grandma's stories from that time.nnTheir menu changes with the season, so you can try a variety of cocktails, plus the bartenders are so educated and fun to listen to and learn from. Great for ladies nights, special occasions and date night!
