Athletico Physical Therapy - Kansas City (Westport)

I absolutely love Athletico they have made my post op hip surgery experience amazing! I have been to multiple different Physical Therapists due to moving (states) as well as a couple different surgeries and this place is by far the best! They offer dry needling which was a very good experience! They don’t leave you feeling like you don’t know what the next step is. They are hands on. They guide you through every step of the way. Most places I been too the first day or week there hands on then they just toss you aside and won’t ever do hands on therapy again (massage and stretching) this place won’t do that to you! They actually care about you! Banaka Is my Physical Therapist in the Westport Athletico and she is seriously the sweetest soul! She is smart and she knows what she’s doing! She called to check up on me throughout treatment. She has amazing hours to fit my crazy life schedule! What PT stays open till 7am-8pm? Not many, but this one does! I am a surgical Tech I see intra operative experience and being the patient is hard for me typically. I tend to recover slower because most PT places just in general want to go at their pace not the patients and Athletico went at my pace and abided by my doctors wishes! I came into this therapy office in pain and way behind schedule due my previous PT leading me astray and not abiding by my surgeons post operative restrictions! This PT picked me right off the floor so to speak took me back to the basics (instead of putting me in the 60 day post op routine ) they took me back to day one! We started with stretching and massage and heat! Then pushed through to some strength and swimming! Now cycling and dry needling! Seriously recommend this place! I had surgery by the Chiefs orthopedic surgeon and there staff even comes here for PT as well as they refer patients here because it’s that good! Thanks Athletico! Athletico is the place to go for physical therapyud83dudc4d! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. Extremely hands on and knows exactly where to focus in their treatment. Any pain I walk in with immediately feels better after we're done! These guys are the real deal, knowledgeable and caring and thorough in experience. I couldn't be happier with the experience; everyone in this office has a deep understanding of the way the body works.nnI came in with a bad shoulder and mobility issues in my shoulder and figured it was something I'd always just have to sort of manage but Athletico has encouraged me; with their help I feel like I'm actually resolving some issues. I have complete faith and trust in Athletico's expertise and hands-on ability. All of the Physical Therapists are attentive to your concerns, identify the source of he issue(s) and give you the treatment you need; providing exercises that strengthen the muscles needed.nnThe Physical Therapy Staff are great at assessing the problem and created a successful program for rehabilitation. They take the time to show me different exercises that seem to help. They spend so much time with me and I enjoy the one on one PT sessions; I never feel rushed.nnIt's so refreshing to work with a PT practice like Athletico who has a unique and highly proactive approach to treating the cause and hopefully towards fixing the problem. This facility is welcoming and professionally run as well. I have had nothing short of a good experience here!

After experiencing an auto accident I had to receive physical therapy from athletico. From the very first visit to the Westport facility I felt that the staff knew what my needs were and that they knew how to treat them. The staff was always attentive and informative. They were always ready for me upon my arrival to start, the facility was always clean and I never felt hesitant to go there. During these cautious times with the pandemic I paid attention if the equipment was carefully cleaned after each use in which it was immediately after each use. Everyone that worked with me at the facility was fantastic and exemplified true professionalism. I will truly recommend athletico to anyone I know that should need their services. Everyone is so inviting and friendly. I did my last 3 months of PT after my shoulder Labrum surgery here and they worked so hard to get my shoulder back where it needs to be!! I'm going to miss going every week ud83dude0a absolutely best Physical therapists I've ever worked with!!!!! Such a smart fun group.

Very professional and a friendly staff. The Therapist is amazing she does everything to make you comfortable & well again. I would recommend this location to my family & friends.
