I hate UMKC pakring area. They have too much space for staffs, but no space for students. I don't know why the parking pemit costs that expensive.

Parking is TERRIBLE here. Paid over $200 for a student parking permit and I find a parking spot 3/10 times. One of those being metered. No free parking what so ever. And I have to walk a mile to one of my classes because the only close parking is staff only. Absurd. Will be transferring schools after this horrible first semester here. If you’re going to charge $200/student for parking, MAKE MORE PARKING AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS.

I’m not really sure how a parking garage could be bad. But this one was clean and my car wasn’t damaged or stolen. All the items in my car were untouched. Also the police department is located on the first floor of the garage. I attend UMKC and I parked there for orientation.
