Hampton Inn & Suites Kansas City-Country Club Plaza

Nice clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff! The location is great too - close to the Crown Plaza area with shops and great restaurants. We were in town for the Chiefs game and it was a quick 20 minute drive to Arrowhead, too. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was super clean in the room, the beds were alright, they were kind of wobbly on their frames and they were really springy... the pillows were awesome though. the bathroom was nice, it had glass shower doors but only one sink... There was a huge well lit mirror though,, which was nice.. There was only 1 chair in the room, which was inconvenient... Also, the TV wasn't a smart tv, so I couldn't cast things to watch from my phone, which was also a little annoying. They did have a few channels to watch, including HBO but there was no channel list or guide to see what was on...nThe indoor heated saltwater pool was really nice and very clean, though, and the balcony right off the pool room was perfect for drying off before going back up to the room. Theres also a nice fitness room with a bunch of equipment in it. The parking garage under the hotel is free for guests, which was very nice. They also had free wifi. There was also a free breakfast (waffles, muffins, bagels, fruit cups, cereal, oatmeal, milk, etc) from 6 to 10am which was ran by a staff member to keep contamination to a minimum.nMasks are required in all common areas of the hotel, and there is a limit to the number of people allowed in the pool and fitness rooms.nnThey were doing construction while we were there, but there was no noise i heard. There was however some construction debris in the elevator area, like dust and i saw some screws on the floor, which could have been bad for someone not watching where they were stepping...nnThe front desk staff was very friendly though. I asked for an extra hour to check out and they said that was fine and I wasn't charged anything extra for it.nnAll things considered, I would probably stay here again... the hotel decor is very pretty,, everything is very nice and new... I felt the room could have been a bit better for the amount of money I paid but its in an expensive part of town... and at least there were no hidden fees on top of the room rate.

I generally like Hampton Inn’s/ Hilton but this is the worst Hampton I’ve stayed in. Stayed in a double bed, 1 bedrooms/ with a sofa sleeper. Reservation was for 5 guests yet we only got FOUR towels, and THREE bars of soap. And four bags of coffee. Room did not have bedding or pillow for the sofa bed (checked the closet and all drawers and cabinets) went downstairs and asked for a comforter. I was told I could not have a comforter because they were only for the beds? Kind of ridiculous. Then I get handed a sheet so thin that I needed 2, along with a pillow. Also upon arrival the room and hallways had a weird smell. Will not be back to this location.

We were well taken care of from requesting a mini fridge, and Sean answering some questions I had. I won't hesitate to recommend this Hampton to all my friends.
