While the customer service was great, and I much appreciated how Kay's made picking a ring a special occasion, I am very displeased with the quality of work done on our ring and the fact that Kay's would not make it right.nnI went in with my wife to pick out a ring, and Daniel our salesman and the other staff made it such a memorable moment. I absolutely loved how friendly they were to my son, and not making me feel quite so anxious about him being there with us as young and full of energy as he was. And because we could relax more, it was a romantic occasion for my wife and I. We even found a ring and a wrap that looked REALLY beautiful together, and we were able to finance it very easily.nThe problem was when it came to the jewelry and jeweler handy work quality; There were small stones embedded in the ring that were constantly popping out, even when she was at work not doing anything crazy but typing and filing. We were able to return the ring once per month to get those stones replaced, so that was not so bad.nWhat killed my opinion of Kay's is when we sent the ring and wrap in to be soldered together, it was done crooked. You could clearly see that the gem was not centered to the design of the wrap. They couldn't fix it, and we were stuck paying for a ring that my wife no longer liked. I ended up buying her a cheapy she picked out that was cubic zirconia/plated just so she wouldn't feel so self-conscious about the crookedness.nnIn the end, we found ourselves in a financial strait when she lost her job while still pregnant with my daughter and still had to go to the hospital throughout her pregnancy, so the remaining debt on the ring we were able to get written off. But because Kay's would not work with us on replacing the ring after the botched soldering, or writing off the remaining amount we owed VOLUNTARILY, I will NEVER go back or suggest Kay's as a jeweler again.nnIt's too bad they cannot stand behind their handy work, because it left a permanent scar on an otherwise wonderful and memorable time of my life that I can never get back.

I was charged twice for ring sizing because someone dropped the ball somewhere and my ring is still too big. Each time I move my hand, the ring slides around on my finger. This was suppose to be my wedding ring.

Staff helpful and noticed a repair needed to protect the diamonds that I hadn't noticed when asking to have it resized. Both consultants were very friendly and customer oriented.
