Clean, comfortable rooms in a good location right off the interstate. The hotel is in good proximity to a number of restaurants of various cuisine, so you won’t have trouble finding something to eat which meets your fancy. There’s plenty of parking, and the staff at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. If I ever find myself in Hays again, I’ll probably hit up the Super 8 for rooms first!
Very happy with our stay. Clean, quiet and safe. Location was great; right off the interstate. Renee at the front desk was very polite and accommodating. Super 8 has been very impressive so far.
Place seems well run, friendly staff and receptive to pets. The place is clean and for a discount motel take care of the facility. It’s a little noisy with the interstate right there and construction allows for noise about the place. Have stayed there several times to hunt area and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Nice solid building that they rehabbed and turned into a hotel. So far everything is still clean and nice to pass off as $70-$80 a night. $10 a night for dog is fair that's why they got our business we will stay here again as long as quality of rooms and rates do not go up unless they remodel more before raising the room rate! It has a tiny television for such a big room
Short of the long, save yourself, keep driving, it'll be worth it!! Don't believe the pictures or reviews, we fell for it, arrived to the hotel, the lobby had been renovated, and maybe a few rooms for photos, but as soon as we hauled all of our luggage up 3 flights of stairs (no elevator) and opened our room door we knew... Room was not renovated, smelled, rusty fixtures, small and cramped, bed wasn't clean, bathroom was not clean. Went downstairs to ask for our money back, front desk said I'd have to contact my travel site, contacted the travel site and they said they contacted the manager and the manager said that he went to our room and said it was perfectly fine and wouldn't refund the money, and so the travel site said I'd have to contact the hotel... Went through my credit card and after months, the hotel still won't refund. It's not the money, it's the principle, they don't deserve the money for what they lie about. Complete run around scam, they must be paying people to write good reviews, I couldn't sleep here one night let alone make my wife, we left and I hope the manager and owner become human beings one day and own up to their terrible business practices.
