She braided my daughters hair with really nicely well done & tight braids!! I was so impressed and she even put beads on them,nTruly excellent craftsmanshipud83dude01

Terrible customer service! Doesn’t answer question was on the phone the whole time. Getting mad at me for the hair I bought and picked out it wasn’t all black. Than wouldn’t give me my extra hair I’d bought somewhere else back to my at end of my appointment ! Cornrows so tight I got sores and blood. Very rude people! I’ve communicated issues with them and given them 3chances! Terrible business heard them talk about if any customer leaves any belongings there they’ll take it it’s theres now. They changed prices after discussion and will take extra hair you bought! 0 Star! Would not recommend!

I come to Lawrence just to have Sophie do my braids and I have always been very happy with the results. She does excellent work!

I love getting my hair done here I live in Olathe and I drive all the way down to Lawrence just to get my hair hair done because I know how my hair is going to turn out and I know it’s going to be great .

I saw this business as a drive by and I was interested because my friend needed to get his hair retested. I made the call asked my question but she didnt seem to understand what I was talking about but we finally got to the same page asked for a price but it wasnt a specific price because of course she needed to see the length of the hair which I understand. after getting off the phone with her I contact my friend letting him know that hey theres a place nearby that does the hair twisting dreads whatever so he said nice let's go check it out. so when we went to the location it was closed but there was a paper that you cant see unless your by the door that says appointment only. so we left but we called her again and again but no answer. it was only 6 33 PM and she closes at 7 pm but I get it she maybe busy so instead I send her a message on FB she saw it but didnt respond at all not even the next day. I called her again the next day so we could set an appointment but no answer called her 5 times, messaged her again telling her we want to set an appointment is there better number to contact. I made one last call finally she picks up asked for her next availability she said her person wasnt available because she went on vacation something and will be back next week so I said okay, so i asked her if she knew another place that does what she does and she said Google it. I told her we've googled it but we only found places in Kansas city cuz you couldn't even find her in Google unless its specific like her name, but I learned that its actually called African Hair and typing that in Google worked but I didnt know that at first because I'm not African nor black I'm Asian I don't know anything about this stuff. I also posted a comment on her page asking the people that has gotten their hair done through her just so we can get it done because we didnt really want to wait til next week. and that's were everything started she started getting mad at me for asking a question how I can use my own social media to ask this question. Girl if i knew someone I wouldn't be asking you in the first place. For someone who owns a business and doesnt know who's around her is not good business. I get the fact that she may not wanted to give me a name because it would be competition but at the same time dont say you're open when you cant even do your service or atleast be nicer about it cuz I would have probably still wanted to set the appointment with you. but she was so rude to me even after we had spoken and I dont understand why
