We had a lovely time in a beautiful historic home by a quiet little lake. The owners were friendly and helpful. Our room was decorated in period appropriate but still modern with a jetted tub, in room etc. Hot tub outside too. A gourmet breakfast was served...it was delicious. We will return again.
Beautiful property, the sweetest owners who are the most gracious hosts, and the BEST place for a girl's weekend away! Highly recommend!
We finally got our first chance to stay here last night after a fantastic Romantic Dinner event there. Sandy does a fantastic job of cooking and made delicious prime rib, sweet potato crepes and twice baked potatoes - topped off with a wonderful chocolate lava cake dessert! Marshall and Sandy are such great people and have put a lot of work into restoring this house to show off its beauty. If you ever have a chance to attend an event here or stay for the evening...you will surely enjoy it! Oh...and did I mention the homemade chocolate chip crepes, lemon curd and glazed bacon with our scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning? What great memories...
Beautiful area. Great services and kind folks
We attended a family wedding and the experience was horrible. They brought in a drone to film the bridal party for their own marketing without written consent. They tacked on charges left and right for items that were initially supposed to be included. They had the upper hand and manipulated the situation. What was the wedding couple supposed to do when these changes were happening during the event? I would not recommend for a weekend event.
