I stayed here once and that was enough. There is nothing wrong with this hotel necessarily, but the other hotels in town are just newer and nicer. This hotel seems like its from the 90s and hasn't been updated since. Just kind of has that gross feel to it - for example my room smelled funny. The breakfast was sub par even for continental hotel breakfast. I mean it works, but I would prefer to stay elsewhere.
I had a fantastic stay at the fireside Inn and Suites - I had the pleasure of being able to meet the owner Mitch who is a avid fisherman and lover of the outdoors. It makes sense when you look at the amenities of this property and the warmness that it is a matter of culture from the ownership. I found it bad to be extremely comfortable the room was clean the staff was friendly and I enjoy the extra perks of the daily happy hour and meal that the hotel was nice enough to provide. The hotel has also invested in a new door lock system that it allows for mobile check-in which I found to be a really nice upgrade. See for yourself and stay at the fireside Inn - will have a great stay.
Clean facilities. The staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. The swimming pool was open and they had plenty of new towels. We stayed on Saturday night. They provided chili dogs and 2 free drinks for dinner and bacon, eggs and potatoes for breakfast in the morning. I rate the food around a 6 out of 10. Better than most places.nnRooms were clean, shower was hot and perfect!nnWill definitely stay again next time when back in town.
Achal the GM was an awesome person. I was there on fishing trip with my friends. Experience was way better than i expected. Rooms were nice and clean and had a great sleep on the comfy bed. Sara was a great help at check in.nFew drinks at the bar and complimentary snacks was definitely a plus point and everyone loved the service by young man at the Bar. Will come back for sure.
I am very happy with this hotel. The staff and service are great. Hard working people. They keep the building in a good shape. The building look good and it smell great.nFriendly staff #1. Breakfast is awesome. I have stayed here on multiple trip and i would continue to do so!!!!!
