This Corp of Engineers park is right off of the Neosho river, downstream from the dam. There is no access to the river as there is a very necessary safety fence, so no fishing from here. Some of the sites have a grade that makes them difficult to back into, but the park was clean and well groomed. The showers are large and handicap accessible. The dump station area was clean and functioning appropriately, with east drive through accessibility from two directions.

There are porta potties near all campsites and then there are showers with actual toilets. On the East side there are water and electricity hookups (for RVs and regular wall outlets) available. We camped for 5 nights in tents and it was wonderful and peaceful. The dam is nearby and helps to put you to sleep when you are tired. The prices are affordable and it is kept clean daily. The park ranger does her rounds and checks up on things and even helped us find out campsite.
