Joseph Mark Graham Jr., D.O.

Dr Graham left me paralyzed after a May 20th, 2019 surgery. He performed a spinal cord stimulator. He allowed the tech to turn on the stimulator even though he said he believes its best to not turn on for two weeks. This intense stimulation right after surgery, was he said to help my pain, but instead I was in hellacious pain. My first moment out of surgery was screaming for pain meds and being met with a refusal. 30 min later I was paralyzed waist down from a severe bleed that Dr Graham had thought was non existent when he placed the stimulator. Now I was in icu for 3 days and in the hospital for a month and two months after in rehab. I’m still paralyzed in my bowel and bladder and have severe nerve pain and I am up to $250,000 in medical expenses not counting cost of my walker, wheel chair, commode, medical supplies like cath supplies and installation of the ramp at my house. Dr Graham and Josh Sweet left me paralyzed and only checked on me one other time after a Month in the hospital. This was when he came to the icu room on the 2nd day to tell me I was paralyzed as I had a spinal cord injury from a hematoma that had formed on my T4-t12 and after being upset as I was going home and had questions the Rehab nurse set up for him to come back before I went home to explain the surgery he did as my My 4” incision became 14” and I’m in horrible pain in my back. Avoid him and Josh if you value walking and going to the bathroom independently.

I struggled with nerve pain down my leg for years. I could not find a solution and every doctor I spoke to said there was nothing they could do. But Dr Graham immediately found the problem. I could not be more impressed. I would highly recommend Dr Graham to anybody that wants pain relief and compassionate care.

He performed a very intensive spinal decompression surgery on me and did magic. He does need to offer more pain control as 5 spinal fusions and a laminatectomy is excruciating. All in all he is VERY talented and very caring.

Had 2 fusions with him. 1st one broke loose due to a car accident after surgery. He did not believe me the hardware was loose. Caused work comp case to close. Directly after it closed he wanted to do surgery where he was somehow amazed the hardware was indeed loose. I should have listen to an employee of Ortho Four States who had a back problem. She said there was no way she would ever have Dr Grahm work on her back. I felt stuck with him so went ahead with the spinal fusion revision. I am still in daily nerve pain. He seems nice. Tells you what you want to hear but does not do it. His head nurse is not sympathetic nor does she advocate for patients.
