I have been a patient here for many years. I was stuck in California on lock down at the beginning of this year until about August. Now I’ve always been on my medicine and Dr. Manzer has always been a friendly nice place to go, but for some reason they have changed for the worse. I came back and made a telephone appointment for my seizure meds, and paid for it, and waited that day for them to call me. No call. Nothing. Called them and asked what’s wrong and they tell me I haven’t had labs in a year and I need them, before I can even get my medicine( or even a call from a nurse practitioner) I’ve been on for 6 years after many many progressive grand mal seizures, I have tried working with them, begging and pleading for I even had a seizure last week cause I had zero medicine left. I know labs are easy and just some blood but if you can’t even move or go out for fear of a seizure this is a huge obstacle and pandemic craziness. Now after speaking with 2,3 receptionists, begging to talk to dr manzer or even for a weeks supply, so I could go and do the test,I was met with a don’t care attitude and won’t help at all even thou I’ve been back and forth on the phone for over a week now with them, but the ringer is they charged me immediately for my appointment )when I called to schedule) that I never got obviously, 55 dollars I believe and now that I want a refund, all of a sudden they can’t find my payment and still won’t let me speak to dr manzer, or he probably doesn’t even know about it. I have gone to Dr Manzer for 4 years and I can’t believe this has happened after doing everything they say and all my labs and my drugs tests, they even knew I was taking a trip, I told the nurse practitioner. Now for some reason the medicine that will save my life(has saved my life) wont be given to me, nor my money back which I would rather have my health and medicine but to act like I didn’t pay them and lost my info, it has gone to far.I have been a model patient, always paid my bills and always did what they told me I will be pursuing a lawsuit now, and will be telling several of my friends to not go there because I’ve never seen such blantent disregard for a patient. All I can do is lay in bed and wait for the next seizure or someone to drive me to the emergency room. Not happy at all with you dr Manzer “FAMILY”.nSincerelynnDaniel Price

I've been being treated by Dr.Manzer and his entire team at the Carthage and Galena offices for over 15 years. I am what you might say a complicated patient. Dr.Manzer has never given up on me. He has helped me through some very difficult times including discovering that I had leukemia thru blood tests. His incredible front staff called immediately to let me know to go to the emergency room instead of waiting for my next appointment to inform me of my out of range bloodwork. Speaking of his staff, they are the very best at what they do. Anita, works at the Galena office, She is always going above and beyond to make sure I have the absolute best care. She always greets me by name and with a smile. I am so very happy with the care I receive and would never think of ever looking for another team for my medical care. If you care about your personal healthcare you should definitely consider Dr.Manzer's team. I promise you will not regret it.
