Dr. Strankmeyer and the rest of the staff have always treated me great. They treat me as a person not just another patient. He’s very knowledgeable and understanding of my individual needs.

As an Army Officer for 27 years, Ranger, and Special Forces I had many serious injuries. I retired and built a successful national company. It was also a very physical endeavor. When my shoulder kept coming out of joint, working with firefighters, it was time to replace it - the botched surgery caused my early retirement at 61. I had great doctors that took care of me in WA State for 22 years, but for months after moving here, I couldn’t find a single, permanent doctor to take care of my needs. It was concerning! The VA helped me some, but they’re not a permanent solution, so my VA doctor recommended I call Elite. I was at my rope’s end, planning on moving back to WA, and Elite Pain Mngt called me. My confidence wasn’t too high, but once I met with Dr Strankmeyer in Galena, I felt more relieved. He understood all my injuries and condition better than anyone, and he’s “totally dedicated” to restoring my quality of life. He set up my plan and procedures to get better. Since that day and months later, I’ve received multiple procedures on my shoulder and hips, which have benefited me greatly! There’s still more work to be done, but I’m finally back to exercising again...a big deal, we all require to get better. Dr Strankmeyer saw me today to work my next game plan. All procedures are done in Springfield, and their staff there are also great! Dr Tonkin does the procedures and he’s excellent! They’ve helped to make my life much better! I would like to thank Dr Strankmeyer, Dr Tonkin and their professional staff’s for helping to get my life back!

Dr.strankmeyer, is great he gives you injections for your pain when asked. He is very attentive, care deeply about your individual needs. Great physician.
