Tracy chapel was an early Cold War era addition to camp grafton. The chapel was completed in 1957 at a cost of over $35,000 and named Chaplain Tracy Memorial Chapel in 1978 to honor major Thomas J. Tracy.nnThe chapel is a large single story masonry building with a steeply pitched front-gavle roof, a smaller single story wing and L-shaped overall appearance. The foundation and masonry walls have a cinderblock faced exterior and the entry is highlighted by two plain brick pilasters supporting a narrow concrete slab hood.nnTracy Chapel is eligible for listing on the national register as an example of the modernistic architectural construction at National Guard installations during the early Cold War era.
