I’m only giving this “dentist” a one star because I can’t give a zero. I had the WORST experience with this dentist today. A little back story, I was in an abusive relationship 5 years ago and during that time I got hit on the left top side of my face with a 2 x 4. At that time I lost one molar and had another pulled. My dentist in Oklahoma explained to me that due to the trauma I would eventually lose all of those molars. I had one left that broke about 2 weeks ago. I work as a Para and coach while attending college full time to be a teacher and am saving money to get a partial to replace those molars while I save up for implants. I was in quite a bit of pain but since I am on state insurance now, finding a dentist to extract this one tooth was quite difficult so Moody got me in. I had NO ideas the reviews and horror stories of this man before hand as I’m fairly new to the El Dorado area. I go in and he tries to tell me that it doesn’t need to be pulled, he just wants to fill it (a tooth that had a large chunk missing). I tell him no I just want it pulled so I can be without pain and move forward in repairing my teeth. Him and his nurse both basically get frustrated at my wishes and were hateful the rest of the visit. He goes to “numb” me with 2 shots and most of the medicine just went all over my mouth due to his shaking. He then doesn’t even give it time to work and starts yanking after scolding his nurse for not getting him the right tools. For about 15-20 minutes he pushed and pulled with on every way on my face. Not like any dentist I had ever been to. There were points my lips were about up to my eyes. He slipped several times once hitting my eye and never apologized. My gums were shredded from the tools not being properly placed and he was getting so frustrated that he dropped the f bomb a couple times under his breath. Saying that since I want it out so bad I may just have to go to an oral surgeon. Mind you the entire time tears are streaming down my face but I’m just trying to deal thinking he would get it out because I felt the tooth start to budge. He then gives up and tells the nurse that I don’t need to lose the tooth and probably didn’t need to lose the others either even after me telling him why I did. He was extremely hateful talking about the teeth I had lost like that wasn’t an emotional topic for me anyway. Once he was done the nurse asked me if I was in pain and I shook my head yes and she asked if he wanted to give me anything. His exact words were “ she didn’t scream in pain while I was pulling on her face as hard as I could so she can just have a Tylenol”. (I’m not a junkie and could care less about pain meds). He then didn’t apologize or say he was sorry he put me through that or anything he just left the room. I was given my xrays and told to go to an oral surgeon. He left my gums shredded, my tooth in worse jagged condition, and sent me on my way. I left bawling. And not one person cares. Luckily Dr. Armfield got me in immediately in Augusta and took care of me but what an awful degrading experience. People were taking their kids into him when I left. Do NOT go to this dentist. He needs to lose his license permanently. I have documented how swollen and bruised my face and eye are and plan to do whatever I can to make sure this doesn’t happen to another person ever!!!

Wonderful atmosphere. They even worked out a payment plan with me. I got a bag of goodies with 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste and chapstick. But it's not about what you get materially there. It's about how much they care. They are good people. I highly recommend going there!

Very terrible. Guys never go to Dr. Moody in Eldorado.. He took my wisdom teeth out today. Worst experience of my life. Didn't put me out or give me any kind of laughing gas, didn't let me take out any of my pericings in my mouth, and this dude shook so bad it was like he had Parkinson's disease. He sat his sharp tools on my chest not even on a table and it fell and hit my neck.. I mean I cannot express to you how much I did not trust this man. I stopped him 3 times and asked if he was okay because he was shaking so bad. Never going to him again that was ridiculous.
