Be WARY! I checked out two books (the first two books I've EVER checked out here) and without giving me ANY NOTICE AT ALL, they turned me into collections! I had already turned the books back in the dropbox, but I guess they were a few days overdue, and I had no idea. They tried charging me $50 for TWO BOOKS that they had back in their possession! That's one heck-of-a late fee! I cancelled my membership immediately. Be careful.

The collection of books here is amazing. I love this place because it is peaceful and quiet. This is my go-to place if I need to study or if I just want to read.

If this can post a video I would post a video of two society guards putting their hands on a woman that was talking with the recipientionist not being disorderly or loud or obscene but the security guard got very aggressive and hands on when this woman asked him to let her talk to the recipientionist. Then when I recorded them being aggressive I was kicked out because I guess I was being disorderly as well for recording

I love the Omaha Public Library! It is so easy to use and a magnificent resource. I just learned about their seed library this year, so almost my entire garden is from their seed supply that I will help replenish after harvest. They send books or seeds to any library speedily, which is so helpful!
