Mid-Iowa Occupational Testing

They were very nice to help us even though we arrived early, hence the two stars. However, two of the people who worked behind the desk were not wearing masks. One of those people escorted me into a back room for fingerprinting, etc. and did not put a mask on for the walk from the front desk, down a hallway, and into a back office, even after I asked her to. She was very slow to respond and visibly annoyed with the request. This is more concerning because you need to remove your mask to have your picture taken. This did not feel like a safe experience overall and I would not recommend going here if mask compliance and other COVID precautions are a priority for you. Given that there is a mask mandate in place I was very surprised to see this.nnEdit in response to Anthony:nI appreciate your thoughtful response.n- We did truly appreciate being let in early to be helped. You went above and beyond to accommodate us and I am appreciative of that. You were definitely not the problem.nn- There was no issue with taking my mask off for the photo. Of course I expected to do this. I'm sorry if my review was not clear on that point. The point I am trying to make is that if people are required to take their masks off in your facility, it would seem like a good idea to be sure that employees are masked at all times when in proximity to customers. This did not happen today.nn- The person who helped me did not put her mask on in the hallway; she carried it down the hallway. She put it on after sitting down at the desk inside the office. In fact she told me twice to come closer and I said that I was waiting for her to put her mask on before I went inside the room.nnI am not asking you to change your policies or accusing you of not being compliant with the mask mandate and associated guidelines. It's definitely a lot to navigate. My intention is to note the choices that were made today so that anyone who would like to visit your place of business knows what to expect.

You just cannot beat the customer service from a business relationship perspective. I will be loyal to Mid-Iowa for as long as I have a business in the Des Moines metro. Thank you Anthony and Gary for the continued support!

Professional company, down to earth and family owned business. They get you in and out within a few minutes and actually care about the employers well being. Highly recommended!

Do NOT work here. I was all set up to begin working and the owner completely stopped responding to my emails out of nowhere when he told me I already had the job. There have also been several other providers that were supposed to work there but somehow “fell through”.
