Des Moines Pediatric Dental Center

Normally this place is great. However their front staff during this pandemic is not very friendly. I confirmed with them the morning of my daughter’s first ever filling that my husband could back with her and got a confirmation that he could. That was not the case when they showed up for her appointment. The front staff rudely told him no even though we had proof that they said he could. They gave the excuse that they thought I was asking because it was her first “appointment” when in the text I CLEARLY stated first FILLING. And besides...wouldn’t they have RECORD of my daughters previous visits and history? Then they had someone come out and say he couldn’t go back because of the laser they use. So which is it? Leaving my child alone with strangers is not something either of us are comfortable with. Regardless - the front staff is a joke. You work at the desk GREETING YOUR PATIENTS. Don’t be jerks. Especially when dealing with a CHILDS FIRST INVASIVE TOOTH APPOINTMENT. Thinking of not coming back....

I love this dentist office! The girls that work with my kids are amazing! They recently switched dentist to Dr. Stevenson and he isnGreat too. My daughter is special needs and they are always accommodating. My only complaint is the consent questioning of why I need to go back with her. I hate just because she doesn't look disabled, doesn't mean she isn't. Every time we go, I feel like I have to explain myself. It gets old. But great team otherwise.

We have gone here since my son was ready for his first dental check. We love all the staff and they always make us feel extremely comfortable. My son is excited to go to the dentist every 6 months :).

This is an amazing practice. I started my kids going here at age 3 and they LOVE it. Each child gets sunglasses and picks their own show to watch on their private TV. Large stuffed animals make even the big X-ray machine seem friendly. For 9 years they always provided the best service, 100% aimed at kids. We have had dental issues including a cavities and a tooth pulled, no worries! They make everything focused on the child. My kids beg to go to the dentist. I trust their care and the staff are always exceptional. I highly recommend.

We are so pleased with Des Moines pediatric dental! My 5 year old has been afraid of the dentist and today went so smoothly thanks to the Dentist and the Dental Assistant worked together and helped my son learn to care for his teeth! She was so friendly and patient with him. I wish I knew her name, but thank you.
