Dr. Wortman is fantastic, and he is the only reason I stay with him and this clinic. His nurse however does not respond to medication refills for medication that does result withdraw symptoms. Unfortunately you can't offer a review of a doctors nurse...only the doctor.

Dr. Wortman is not my primary care physician but is another great Dr through the Iowa Clinic. He did hospital rounds at Methodist West when I was in the hospital. I was advised he would be the doctor making rounds the next day. The Dr said he would be a short bald man with lots of energy. That he was; lots of energy, a big smile, and pep in his step. My husband’s doctor just moved out of state. I will definitely be sending my husband Dr. Wortman’s way! We have changed clinics and hospitals and I am amazed at the attention and care that we have received.

Dr. Wortman is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an internal medicine doctor.

Dr. Wortman was my husband's primary care physician when we lived in Iowa. He was exceptional! He listened, followed up as needed, and was very knowledgeable. I suspect we will have great difficulty finding a doctor who my husband likes and has confidence in in our new city.
