Dr. Layton is a fantastic physician! I saw him for many years while he was in Ankeny, and now that I have found him again, continue to see him in Polk City. I appreciate that he treats the cause of the symptoms, rather than just placing a band-aid on them. I find him to be very personable and caring, and I trust that you will, too. His nurse and the front desk staff are also five star recipients!

Today was my first visit with Dr. Layton, and he immediately made me feel at ease. From my initial email contact with him to my experience on the phone with the pleasant staff and my interaction with the nurse who greeted me, I could tell this was a clinic that places value on the person. I have not had a primary care provider in a traditional office setting for years (I usually utilize the service of a physician who is a friend of mine at a free clinic where I volunteer), but I realized that having a regular medical “home” is important. I feel confident that Polk City Family Medicine can provide that medical home for me, as they have already exceeded my expectations with just an initial discussion visit

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Layton for several years. He is a wonderful doctor. He listens. He explains thoroughly. And, he is extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We are long time patients of Dr. Layton and have followed him to his new practice because he is knowledgeable, caring, and informative. Layton is wonderful to our kids as well . He listens and treats them with the same amount of care and respect. Additionally his new office staff have all proven to be friendly and helpful making my last visit very welcoming. Dr. Layton is a skilled practitioner whom I highly recommend.

Very friendly staff and short waiting time...Dr. Layton takes as much time as needed to visit with patients. I didn't feel rushed at all. I highly recommend Dr. Layton and his staff!
