Of ALL Polk County Senior Center's, Polk City has oldest facility (attached to the Fire Department), building simply states Community Center, as opposed to Polk City Senior Center. It's a multiple purpose building for Community. The well balanced meal served still is as delicious as food comes from same kitchen then delivered to sites. Crowd is small, feels like Sunday dinner with Mom and Dad ud83eudd17ud83dude01ud83dude0aud83dude0bud83dude0e
Great place for family gatherings or any social events
This is a wonderful program offered to seniors and/or disabled people it gives them some place to go to keep warm or cool depending on the weather also a chance to socialize with their peers and get a nutritious meal I think it is absolutely critical that communities have stuff like this 4 are most vulnerable in society
