I definitely had a positive experience on the labor and delivery floor. The nurses were awesome. One nurse in particular came in early because there were alot of patients. And she ended up staying 3 hours past her shift was over to be with me while I gave birth. That was awesome to me. I didnt want them to do shift change when I was gonna have to start pushing. Her name is Emily. Hopefully everyone gets her. She was great. But once I had my baby they moved me to the recovery room on a different floor. The nurses didnt seem as nice on that floor. Anytime I needed help with something, they acted like it was a big deal. And when I asked for them to take me to the nicu where my baby still is to this day, they told me no. I had to stay in bed. My baby was doing just fine. So that wasnt the reason. They made me wait 24 hours before I could even go see her. I was so glad to be discharged. The nurses on the NICU floor are awesome too. They really care about their little patients. They're so helpful. Other than that its definitely a great place.
