My wife and I just completed closing on our first home and we had a great, pain-free experience working with Kathy. She was extremely accommodating in scheduling and attending multiple house viewings with us on short notice when new listings came on the market (good homes can sell so fast these days!). Additionally, she was always quick to reply to texts with answers to our questions throughout the process. I'm honestly shocked to read some of the other negative reviews because they could not be further from the truth for us! We would definitely recommend working with Kathy in a heartbeat to other first-time home buyers in the Ankeny area!

Please be advised this realtor is not easy to work with does not fulfill items listed on the purchase agreement and will refuse to answer her phone with important questions about a property. This seller will try and take the cheap way out of any situation. If you come across this realtor just know your in for the long haul.

Unprofessional is an understatement. Throw a rock anywhere in Des Moines and you’ll find a better option for an agent or brokerage.

The experience of buying the house was great. The service after the sale leaves a lot to be desired. There was a problem with an item the buyers were supposed to have fixed as part of the closing negotiations. We emailed Kathy and received no response. We texted her and called multiple times. Still no response. This is completely unprofessional. I would have gone to her for any home selling or buying needs. But not anymore. Do yourself a favor and find a realtor that puts the customer first!

Kathy is our buying and selling agent. She was great in the beginning, answered phone calls and text messages very quickly, got us into every house we wanted to see very quickly. Once we made an offer on our home it all went south, we have left multiple voice mails and text messages and have not heard from Kathy since end of April. We closed on our new home on 4/26, we had a hard time even scheduling a final walk thru on our new home, we had to contact the selling agent to set something up. We had the selling agents firm calling us threating to sue us for not having all paperwork done and our agent did not return phone calls. I called Kathy with no return call and then texted her to call me due to the threats to sue on 4/26 and still to this day we have not heard back from her. We worked with the lawyers office and the selling agent to get everything finalized to close on the new home. Here we are 3 days from selling our townhome with her and we still can not get ahold of her, left a voicemail Thursday or Friday last week, advised we had a few questions and no answer. I would just think twice before putting her sign in your yard.
