One of the first parks installed in the Prairie Trail development. This is passive park meaning there is no play equipment so if you are looking for a park for the kids you may want to consider Dean Park just a block away to the west. There is a shelter house with seating, but no restroom facilities.nnThe annual flowers in the urns are planted by and watered by the neighborhood residents. Several landscaped sections of the park were seeded with native prairie flowers but unfortunately all but one of these areas were re-landscaped with perennial plants and flowers due the prairie mix not coming in as well or as fast as desired. The new landscaping looks wonderful but the one area of prairie mix is just now beginning to take off with prairie flowers.nnThis is a great place for an evening walk or for playing in the open spaces.
