Nice little park in Ankeny. People need to learn to pick up after themselves. Nice area and the pond is a great touch. The trash however was everywhere and lot of stuff in the water. The fishing was not bad. Got a small white crappie and a bass. Battle spin and a hula popper. Fun day.
Going thru new updates so kind of a mess now but should be awesome again when finished!
Simple wonderful little park near hyvee with grill, picnic tables, other parks around, connected to trails, a duck pond. Super!
Great place to teach the lil one how to fish n great place to see ducks.
Arguably the best public park in all of the Metro. Where I spent my childhood. Volleyball and tennis courts, a few baseball fields, a few playgrounds, a nice walking path, a fishing lake, a couple of shelters, an amphitheater, lots of shade, well maintained, and lots of benches. Quite lively in the summer. Lighted at night. Conjoins a middle school, elementary school, the fire station, and Ankeny’s city hall. Reasonably close to eating outlets and so much more.
