Enjoyed the experience. The cats are so sweet. Lots of books and friendly staff and cats. Kind of strange atmosphere and building. Large percentage of hardbacks from libraries and I was a little disappointed that good paperbacks were hard to find. Not going to find current best sellers easily, but worth digging for some older treasures.
I volunteer with these guys and they are amazing! First off it's a super cool building so worth checking out just because of that. They also have a very expansive variety of books, and they work so hard to take care of every individual customer who comes in. It's a very individualized shopping experience for every person, and they have something for everyone.
A reader's Paradise! No frills used books/DVDs ingeniously arranged in copy paper boxes (on their sides) on bookshelves. And 2 friendly cats who will give you space but will allow you into theirs.
I love this place. Just went there a couple weeks ago for the first time. I plan to go back many times!
Lots of used books very well organized, if you are looking for something specific it would be good to check here first if you don't mind used and cheap! Closes early in the afternoon.
