Such a well maintained park and trails.
This is a great place for visitors and residents alike! The Greenway is a meandering path behind the flood wall/levee system, which surrounds nearly the entire city, and protects the city from seasonal flooding.nnIt's a great place to see the Red River, the grasslands, and some wildlife (occasional deer and lots of birds).nnThe path is very well maintained and the pathway is large enough for walkers and bikes.nnOverall, I highly recommend The Greenway to anyone.
I love running the running the trails and have put many many miles on since I've lived up here. Only real negative I've got is a lot of people don't follow the law that dogs must be on leash the whole time. There are a lot of dogs off leash and a few have chased me out on runs.
People should let me know when they are coming up behind me. Be courteous!
Awesome park in North Dakota. In ND there are nothing much to see but Greenway park is the only place where you can chill and relax or do cycling during summer and walk for longer distance. And in winter you can go ice skating in the lake (Red River).
