Wonderful couple who have run the business for decades. They fixed the zipper on a Tumi suitcase that was in otherwise good shape. They were very friendly, helpful, and reasonably priced. In my case, they were able to fix it within 24 hours.

Please give this wonderful couple your business!!! I live in Iowa City and couldn't find a single shoe repair place in Iowa City or Cedar Rapids without atrocious reviews. Thankfully I found this gem and gave them a call. I talked to them on the phone 3 times and every time I called both the husband and wife were so friendly and kind. When I got there (it's about a 30 minute drive from the West side of IC), they were once again extremely friendly and pleasant to talk to. They ended up fixing my shoes for me right then and there so I wouldn't have to make an extra trip out of town (I didn't even ask them to do this, they just offered!) It took them about an hour to fix 3 pairs of shoes (2 heels and a pair of sneakers) and while they were fixing them we had a great time talking! They asked me a bunch of questions about my life and told me about their life (my favorite part was the pictures they showed me of their great grandkids and telling me how they'd been married for 56 years!). On top of all of that wonderful service, it only cost $20 for them to fix 3 pairs of shoes, and they did a great job! The only downsides were the distance and that they don't accept credit cards, but they let me go to the ATM down the street to bring back cash. I really just cannot say enough good things about this sweet couple and their business. If you live anywhere near West Liberty and need your shoes repaired or any upholstery work done, GO HERE!!!
