I literally couldn’t believe I was at the DMV! They were all extremely helpful and kind . The staff was absolutely pleasant! I also came prepared for my appointment so that’s always helpful!

Failed the drivers test for, and I quote, "Driving too carefully". The test giver also said the laws just changed and you HAVE to stop 30 feet away from stopping point, and then roll up to the stopping point. Then she said if you drive 1 mph over the speed limit or 3 mph under the speed limit, you get a demerit and fail. I've never heard of this before, and was honestly stunned when we were told this. When I questioned her statements, she claimed this law was recently passed, to make reckless drivers less reckless. Honestly, I don't know what to think, but I will be taking my child to another DMV for testing next time.

I was expecting a marginal experience. It was very well done. All employees we interacted with were polite, helpful, and professional. We had an appontment, and of course the bolt holding the license plate was stuck; the folks there let me in and then my husband once he removed the plate. They seemed to be pleased that we had all our documents organized - I guess my word of advice for folks is be sure u have what they need and some extra. We are new residents to NV. I did choke at some of the registration costs, but I guess that is turnabout for other taxes that are so low. This was Henderson DMV.

We moved here in Las Vegas last Sept.25, from California. We went early at 7:30 a.m. Saturday October 17,2020 at this DMV at Stephanie. We got our time before 11 a.m. and my wife and i have separate windows to be seen by the DMV clerk. The nice lady on window #26 helped me and she’s from Hawaii. With her patience with all she’s handling her job fantastic. From New registration of my car license plate from California to Nevada. My Driver license to a real ID . It took me less than an hour to finish all my transactions. I don’t remember her name . She’s from Hawaii.Thank you very much, from the guards , i salute to all of you. Now i’m retired here in Vegas with my wife.

I’m Just Saying (10/24/2020)

New to the west coast. Had a Saturday morning appt today for everything (DL & Registration). Waited in line for 5 mins. Got inside and waited 10 mins for my number to be called. Went through the process with Ashley and the only delay was my indecisiveness in selecting license plates. Ashley was patient, hilarious and warm. The techs to the left and right of her were also just as fabulous. My transactions took less than an hour!
