Andrew was our pilot for a discovery flight and was extremely helpful/flexible picking the best time to fly. The flight was super fun, and Andrew made sure to teach us a little about the plane! We flew from Winterset airport, going north, and circling east over Des Moines before returning back to Winterset. Andrew let my SO fly the plane for a short period of time as well! It was about 45 minutes total - well worth it!!nnMy SO is interested in his pilots license, and Andrew stayed to chat with us after the flight to talk about the process. He was extremely helpful!

Andrew is a great instructor with an awesome airplane! Very affordable compared to other flight schools and is honest and upfront about costs. Based out of Winterset, we are able to get a lot accomplished each lessons because of the lack of aviation traffic. Whether you are just starting, or looking to get an instrument/commercial rating, Andrew is very helpful and patient, with lots of experience behind him.

We surprised my 17 year old this afternoon with a Discovery Flight. The entire experience was amazing. Andrew was personable and patient. He explained everything. :) We truly enjoyed our time with Future Flyers of Iowa. From a week ago when we booked, through weather, and then the flight!!!!!!!!!!! ud83dude01 this was... amazing. ud83dude0a

Andrew is a great instructor! He helped me with flight review as well as getting tail wheel endorsement. I would highly recommend.

After deciding to get my pilot’s certificate...I was hard pressed to find someone local that would help me along. A quick search led me to Future Flyers of Iowa. I met with Andrew and immediately found he checked all of the boxes (local-based out of Winterset, he is upfront and personable, follows a published ASA syllabus, and is definitely affordable compared with making trips into Des Moines.) We have a blast during lessons and it leaves me wanting more! Aviation is changing my life and I’m so excited!
