I happened to walk by this place a few days ago and I wanted get inside as I love the old cast iron cookware, not the new junk they sell today as I feel they are trying to ride on the laurels of the antique cookware. I'm sure Doug can sell you new cookware but why would you want it when the old stuff is by far better than the new. I finally got in there the other day and it is an array of awesome cookware in cast iron! I thought I had been in the 10 minutes and when I left it had been over 2 hours. My wife called me asking where I was is how I found out. If you like the unusual in antiques and cast iron cookware and cast iron toy cookware this is it! I don't see this big of display of modern cookware anywhere! I love this place and could spend a lot of money here.
The owner Doug is very helpful. He explained the differences between the brands. It was great that he knew the knowledge that I wanted to know. Not to mention the store has an awesome variety! I’m from Lincoln, NE and starting out in cast iron. So this was a nice find that wasn’t horribly far away from home. So I think I’ll be coming back again in the future. Overall a fun and great experience. ☺ufe0f
