My review is solely based on the person whom answered the phone, (Not my case worker) she refused to help answer my questions and started yelling at me. I'm not gonna mention a name. But I will say that I know for a fact by the way she was speaking to me and yelling she is African American. It's truly sad that they behave in such an unprofessional matter with such positions given to them. They are there to help people in need!!! Not yell and belittle us because we're asking a simple question regarding our case. This is not the first time I've had a bad encounter on a call with the same person. If she's doing this to me. I can't imagine what she's doing to the elderly or other people who desperately need the help or maybe someone just to be understanding towards during these tough times.

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD! WE HAVE GIVEN THIS OFFICE 15 CALLS IN A 2 DAY PERIOD??? WE WERE GIVEN A PHONE APPOINTMENT AND NO ONE CALLED AT ALL AND I HAVE PHONE RECORDS TO PROVE IT! WE CALLED BACK AND SPOKE WITH A REP THAT RESCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT WEEK??? THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO CARE FOR OTHERS AT ALL! WE HAVE SPOKEN TO MANAGERS AND WAS GIVEN ANOTHER APPOINTMENT FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY AND ONCE AGAIN DISMISSED WITHOUT A CALL OR VOICEMAIL! TRIED SPEAKING WITH A COUPLE OF CUST. REPS AND NEVER GETTING ANYWHERE!!! WHAT DOES ONE DO TO GET THIS RESOLVED??

One quarter of a STAR! For the Henderson Social Security Office. I received a call suggesting, that a letter was sent: explaining of my appointment for review today: I have not to date, received said letter. Immediately, I checked online with ssa.gov website, the first thing you see, is red flag banner notification about imposters phishing for information posing as Social Security representatives . A person by the name of Ms Middleton ("as in Princess Middleton") quote and unquote. It makes me feel less comfortable speaking to someone about sensitive information that correlates their name to a Princess! What the &*^% is this world coming to? These supposedly helpful folks, can literally cut off your measly income and seem to salivate at the opportunity for doing so. I have had payments withheld by this office, in the past. Numerous staff at the Henderson Social Security Office, thrive on inciting fear and threats, which they act upon. Update: Ms Middleton called for my appointment on the 28th. I did finally receive the appointment letter predated the 14th, but not posted until the 27th. I received the letter on the 29th.She expected the USPS to deliver within one day? Yeah right, why did she sit on it for two weeks before posting with USPS. Inefficient or inept? On further note concerning this appointment....Later that same day; I receive another call from a representative of the same office, apparently Ms. M had her fill of ethics and dumped my call onto another person. This agent, by the name of Ms Gregorio, listened to my explanation of the situation, and to my pleasant surprise I detected no animus in her voice or her form of questioning. Ms Gregorio was attentive and conducted the review with precision and a courteous demeanor. Wow; you see Henderson office, it can be done with consideration. Five Stars for you and I thank you, Ms.Gregorio.

A really nice staff and helpful. However, with my case I found that this office makes many mistakes.

I first called SSA on Eastern because I got married and I want to change my name. I called the office to make sure what I needed to provide. The first person I talked to said I only need to provide a certified copy of my marriage certificate and form SS5. When I called again to see if they received my documents, I asked again and this time they said I need to provide the same two copies AND my Driver's License. This is why I called because of COVID and every procedure changes and why didn't they tell me the first time that I need to mail in my Driver's License. Please stay consistent. I called for help and still got the wrong information.
