Paul Canas is a top flight individual, experienced and ethical real estate agent. Paul sends me a Calendar every year and has helped with follow-up services. He goes the extra mile, very friendly and most of all efficient.

I was browsing properties on the website tonight while trying to fall asleep. I was logged in as a user but I’m unsure if I accidentally clicked a button showing interest in a property. I received a text message from Tara Clayberg at 9:35 pm asking when would be a good time to have a conversation about the property I was apparently interested in. I thought it was a spam text so I didn’t respond. I then received two phone calls from Tara at 10 pm. I answered the second call and Tara asked if I would like to talk about the property. I asked her if she was in my time zone which she confirmed that yes, she does live in Cedar Rapids. I told her I do not appreciate being contacted at 10 pm. She responded with “sorry but most people want me to call immediately when I receive their information.” Well, that may be true but I’m sure it’s rare for someone to want a phone call at 10 at night. I told her I was put off by this and to have a good night. Tara then sent me another text message apologizing and repeating that most people want a call immediately. I did not respond. I do not appreciate this type of “service” at all. I was interested in a few houses listed but due to this woman contacting me so late and then her responses, I will not be using your company in the future and I will also be telling friends and family about this experience.nnEdit: As of this morning I have received another text message from Tara, wanting to discuss homes after I’ve told her I will not be doing business with her. I am also now getting spam calls from other realty companies so I can only assume Pinnacle Realty has shared my information because I have not looked at any other realty sites or expressed any interest about purchasing a home with anyone else.nnEdit to reply to Pinnacle’s response: I didn’t sign up last night. I signed up a few weeks ago, so your explanation is not accurate. When I called this morning to speak with the manager, I was cut off and told “you HAVE to understand, some people’s daytime hours are that late at night”. That is true, I’m sure but probably not very common. All in all, I am disappointed in the behavior of this company and the fact that when spoken to, they don’t take responsibility but on google review they try to paint themselves in a different light. Again, I will not do business with them in the future.
