gross place, won't be coming back
We love having The Chieftain in Carrington, it's been part of our town's history for nearly 60 years. Food is always excellent, staff is friendly, caramel rolls are a go-to, and their recent remodel makes things feel fresh and modern. A terrific asset for travelers from near and far... everyone takes a picture with the Big Chief and knows exactly where they are.nnAny negative reviews after this one are probably from Social Justice Warriors who seem to have a bone to pick with them, so keep that in mind. Thank you, Chieftain!
These are meals that my friends recently had at the Chieftain for breakfast. I was only having coffee, but I thought the meals were very attractive, so i took pictures of them. My friends commented on how good everything was, and they obviously enjoyed the food because there was nothing left on their plates when breakfast was done. The waitress had a pleasant personality, and the service was excellent.
Better than your average motel. Kitchen closed by the time I checked in on the first night. However, staff & owner were very friendly & accommodating. Dinner the second night was excellent. ( The Bison Ribeye - Medium Rare)
